Thousands Gather in Spain on Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women

Thousands gathered in Madrid for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, with several antifascist groups organizing the march through the Vallekas borough, including Carabanchel Antifa, Vallekas Feminists, and other organizations.

Prior to the march, a banner was dropped in the Coslada neighborhood of Madrid, denouncing violence against women that has penetrated Spain for decades.

Demonstrators marched across the Vallekas neighborhood in the thousands, chanting feminist slogans and condemning misogyny from all roots.
