Student protesters in Athens took to the streets demanding better pay for their teachers, and more funding for their schools. After the 2009 crisis, Greece cut the budget of almost every single program except for that of the police, which caused outrage among the people of the country.

Protesters across Chile took to the streets calling for the freedom of political prisoners that have been put in jail by the state, some since the start of the October Rebellion, from Valparaiso to Santiago. Many banner drops also occurred in smaller cities, that would have had a smaller protest population.
Thousands of protesters returned to the streets of Senegal for a 2nd consecutive day following the arrest of a prominent opposition leader, clashing with police and the military in several areas only for security forces to defect to the side of the opposition in others. At least 4 protesters were killed, with dozens of universities and schools going on strike and traffic shut down nationally.
