Protesters March for Kevin Peterson in Hazel Dell

Hundreds of protesters gathered in Hazel Dell, greater Vancouver (city north of Portland), where Kevin Peterson was murdered by police, and then marched on a main road to another site. A few dozen Proud Boy counterprotesters gathered, but no confrontations nor injuries from fighting occurred.

Protesters briefly stopped to give speeches before resuming the march, with a reduced crowd of around 200 people as opposed to 400 before. After looping, organizers discovered that the Back The Blue counterdemonstrators remained where they were.

Demonstrators then dispersed amid preparations for an Abolish ICE protest later in the day.
