Protesters dropped 2 banners, in English and Spanish, outside of the Wyatt Detention Center which houses undocumented immigrants caught by DHS and ICE. They called for the abolition of police, prisons, and the closing of the Wyatt Detention Center.
Over 100 protesters in Heraklion gathered in solidarity with the Koufontinas hunger strike to be returned to the Korydallos prison. Demonstrators were almost immediately attacked by police before regrouping and forcing law enforcement to retreat and disperse.
Haitians took to the streets all over Port-au-Prince in the thousands on the 17th to protest against the allegedly corrupt regime of Jovenel Moise. Demonstrators set up barricades, and clashed with police, with several dozens of injuries but no deaths.

Clashes occurred between police and protesters, with police eventually being pushed back from their zone of attack by several hundred anarchists. The largest rally had an attendance of over 50,000 people in front of Parliament.
