Protesters dropped 2 banners, in English and Spanish, outside of the Wyatt Detention Center which houses undocumented immigrants caught by DHS and ICE. They called for the abolition of police, prisons, and the closing of the Wyatt Detention Center.
Police in Athens attacked over 100 protesters at the Omonia Metro protesting in solidarity with the Dimitris Koufontinas hunger strike, using batons indiscriminately and forcing them back into the metro that most of them used to flee the scene.
