Armenian Diaspora demonstrators and their allies in Toronto demonstrated against the resurgence of the Nagorno-Karabakh war, in which many Armenian-controlled villages have been taken and cleansed by the Azeri army.
Demonstrations occurred across Iraq against the administration of Mustafa Al-Kadhimi (Al-Kazemi), against whom outrage has been widespread for opening fire and killing 7 civilians in Baghdad during a demonstration earlier in October. It is estimated that at least 10,000 people took part in these protests.
Protesters took to the streets in Israel for the 17th week in a row against the corruption and human rights abuses committed by Netanyahu, with thousands of protesters crowding the streets of West Jerusalem. Many see Netanyahu as the same authoritarian strongman as Donald Trump in the US, and are frightened by the prospects of him acting as such.
