Teamsters union workers went on strike in New York at a Hunts Point Market, demanding a $1 per hour wage increase. Police assaulted those on the picket line, arresting several for no apparent reason, as they were later released without a trial.

Over 100 protesters in Ioannina marched against police repression in universities, enabled by a law passed by the Ministry of Education which allows police back into campuses for the first time since the fall of the military dictatorship decades ago.
80 protesters in the Cretan city of Chania gathered to protest against the indefinite banning of demonstrations in Greece under the guise of coronavirus restrictions. In a statement, the Rosa Nera solidarity organization condemned the militarization of both the police and the army, with more police than doctors and F-16s whose cost could pay for 4000 ICU beds.
Police in Memphis have been seen with newly developed ‘taser shields’, that are used by hitting people in the skin, which delivers them an electric shock. It appears as though the Department of Justice/National Guard has given them these.
Dozens of protesters in Berlin gathered to protest in solidarity with the Rojava government in northeast Syria, demanding the halting of Turkish military operations in the area against the Kurdish-led faction in the Syrian Civil War.
