Huge protests of over 1,000 people took place in New York on the night of September 23rd against the grand jury decision in the Breonna Taylor case.

Around 100 protesters in Rochester marched after no officers were charged in the murder of Daniel Prude, a black man suffocated by police who put a hood over his entire head, causing him to die a week later. Demonstrators marched to the Rochester Public Safety Building, pushing aside barricades and pushing on the front door before dispersing.

Dozens of protesters took to the streets for a 3rd consecutive day in Elizabeth City to demand justice for Andrew Brown, an unarmed Black man shot in the back of the head and murdered by several police officers, who were using assault rifles.
