Hundreds of protesters in Belo Horizonte took to the streets in opposition to the policies of right-wing president Jair Bolsonaro, demanding expanded access to vaccines and the end of ethnic cleansing and killings in the Amazon rainforest against the indigenous population.
Hundreds of protesters in the Minneapolis suburb of Brooklyn Center took to the streets for a 2nd day to demand justice for 20-year-old Daunte Wright, an unarmed black man murdered by officer Katie Potter on the 11th of April. Police and the national guard attacked the demonstration, shooting tear gas and rubber bullets at the crowd.
Dozens of protesters in the La Pincoya neighborhood of Santiago took to the streets to demand the resignation of the ruling right-wing government as well as the immediate release of all protesters detained during the country’s uprising, some of which have been in prison since October 2019.

Dozens of protesters gathered outside of the Center of Justice in Santiago in support of Mauricio Cheque, a Mapuche political prisoner of the social uprising in Chile who was held in prison for over a year without trial, who faced a hearing on the 29th. Demonstrators banged on concrete poles to make noise in support of Cheuque and hanged banners on the walls demanding his release.
