Hundreds in Portland Protest Demanding Justice for Daunte Wright

Hundreds of protesters marched in Portland the day after the police murder of 20-year-old Daunte Wright, a black man in the Minneapolis suburb of Brooklyn Center, demanding the immediate prosecution of Officer Katie Potter.

Demonstrators clashed with police at the Multnomah County Sheriff’s office, but no arrests were made. Police bullrushed the crowd and shot tear gas, in response to which protesters launched fireworks.
