Anarchists protested in Minsk on the 25th in tandem with other groups during the rally of 100,000 people pledging to never support Lukashenko. The anarchist bloc had around 200 people in attendance, with many more in plain clothes participating.
Hundreds of protesters in the Colombian town of Cúcuta at the border with Venezuela took to the streets as part of a sustained general strike, against the Tributary Reform, which would increase taxes on basic goods and services, as well as against the privatization of healthcare and hospitals to adopt the American model.
More than 1,000 protesters gathered in West Philadelphia for a protest, which, after clashes with police, quickly devolved into a riot, with teams of people looting Walmarts and the stores of other large corporations. Many cops were injured and were entirely pushed back from the city after the National Guard failed to arrive.
Anarchists and other direct action protesters gathered at Cal Anderson Park in Seattle to protect the homeless community there from being hit by a planned sweep, placing barricades and setting up food stands. An empty house was also occupied, and the city of Seattle ended up calling the sweep off.
Anti-police riots took hold of the Bron suburb of Lyon in France, following an accident in which a 13-year-old driving a scooter was assaulted by police.
