Police Attack Hundreds of Protesters in Minneapolis After Police Kill Unarmed Black Man

Hundreds of protesters in Brooklyn Center, Minneapolis gathered at the scene where a police officer murdered 20-year-old Daunte Wright, an unarmed black man, demanding an immediate prosecution of those responsible. Police tear-gassed the crowd once it arrived at the police station, also throwing flashbang grenades and shooting rubber bullets.

After police dispersed the main demonstration, civilians spread out across the city, looting dozens of stores and businesses, mostly large ones.
