Hundreds of protesters gathered and marched through Alicante to demand the release of left-wing Catalan rapper Pablo Hasel, facing charges for insulting the monarchy of Spain.

Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Puerto Montt on International Women’s Day, protesting against the government’s incompetence in stopping femicides as well as to demand safe and free abortions in all of Chile.
Chilean protesters gathered in Talcahuano to demand the resignation of right-wing President Sebastian Piñera and amnesty for all political prisoners of the 18th of October Uprising. Following through with the tradition of burning puppets of Piñera as they did on the 2020 New Years’ demonstrators lit a caricature of him on fire with gasoline.
Dozens of protesters took to the streets of the Chilean town of Melipilla in condemnation of the police murder of a street artist in Panguipulli for the offense of failing to provide his ID on time. Demonstrators marched through the city and burned barricades on the commune’s entrance to disrupt activity in the area.
30 protesters gathered at the ICE facility in southwest Portland, demonstrating against the treatment of undocumented migrants in the United States. Demonstrators placed trash and plants in the driveway, to annoy DHS agents, who promptly went outside and made 2 targeted arrests.
