Fight For 15 strikes have begun across Florida with 2 main objectives; the first being to rally support for workers and unions to pressure the Floridian government to improve union and striking laws. The 2nd, and namely more important one, is to turn out the vote to pass Amendment 2 to make the minimum wage $15.

Many bystanders honked their horns in support, as demonstrators moved through the city to the North Precinct before stopping for Letha Winston (Kimmons’ mother) to give speeches, including how to donate for the legal battle.
