FENATS Medical Workers’ Union Protests in Concepción for Raises and Infrastructure

Hundreds of members of the FENATS medical workers’ union protested in the central city of Concepción to demand a higher budget for the health sector to combat COVID-19, including more infrastructure and raises for on-the-ground nurses and doctors. Many in the crowd also called for amnesty for political prisoners [as however, that is not a part of FENATS’ platform] and the resignation of Piñera.
