Dozens of protesters marched for a 2nd day in Rochester after the perpetrators of Daniel Prude’s murder, several police officers, were not charged. Prude had been suffocated after police put a hood over his head in March 2020, which started massive protests after body camera footage of the incident came out.
Dozens of protesters in New York gathered at Chuck Schumer’s apartment building in Brooklyn, demanding that the Democratic senator fulfill his promises to immigrants and the decriminalization of undocumented migration to the United States.
Police in Athens attacked over 100 protesters at the Omonia Metro protesting in solidarity with the Dimitris Koufontinas hunger strike, using batons indiscriminately and forcing them back into the metro that most of them used to flee the scene. Demonstrators promptly regrouped at the Syggrou intersection, setting fires and clashing with police.

Around 1000 students in Athens marched in opposition to a law passed by the Greek Ministry of Education, which would create an independent police force within universities after a decades-long ban on such a law following a massacre of student protesters by the military junta in 1973.
