Clashes Between Police and Protesters at Washington DC Riot

Protesters demonstrated for a second night after the police-involved killing of Karon Hylton outside of a DC precinct, with Hylton’s family attending and being tear-gassed and pepper-sprayed by police. Protesters began to employ fireworks as a means of deterring police, with over 10 injuries from firework strikes over the night.

Reporters were pepper-sprayed multiple times by police, point-blank too, and the entire frontline of protesters was surprise pepper-sprayed by the PD as well. Many arrests were made, although looting still occurred.
