Over 600 protesters gathered in the Kreuzberg borough of Berlin in solidarity with antifascists persecuted in Pego, a municipality of Valencia in western Spain, and anarchists on trial in Rodenburg, in southwest German Bavaria. The demonstration began at Spreewaldplatz in Kreuzberg to Orianenplatz, then moving from Ohlauer Street to Reichenberger Street, where the protesters dispersed.
Hundreds of protesters in Minneapolis marched to demand justice for George Floyd the day before the decided verdict for the murder which sparked massive protests in 2020. Demonstrators demand the National Guard go home, and called for former police officer Derek Chauvin to be convicted on all 3 counts.
On the 5th of October, at around 1 A.M., another demonstration took place against police, albeit far smaller. Police violently assaulted protesters, and then left after realizing that the situation would not escalate without their presence.
