Hundreds of antifascists took to the streets of Sofia to counter the annual Lukovmarch that took place in the capital of Bulgaria, in which fascists from across Europe commemorate the pro-Nazi general Lukov who served the monarchy of Bulgaria.
Protesters took to the streets for a 134th day in Portland to demonstrate against the murder of Walter Wallace by police, and demanding a PPB budget cut of at least 50%. They demonstrated in front of a city commissioner’s house, demanding that he endorse the defunding.
Thousands of antifascists gathered in Washington D.C. to counterprotest a pro-Trump rally organized by the Proud Boys, with clashes ensuing throughout the entire day and the night ending with 4 stabbed and 23 arrested. Antifascists managed to provide a much larger resistance than the previous Million MAGA March.
Dozens of Young People in the Tunisian southern city of Tataouine have set up road blocks and marched against promised government action for employment in the marginalized region.
The unemployment rate in Tataouine currently stands at around 30%, one of the highest in the country.
In July of 2020 already, protesters managed to get into an oil production facility and to close a pipeline, which transported half of the Country’s oil. This forced the government to make concessions and promise investments in the region, but nothing serious has been done yet.
Around 1000 protesters returned to the streets of Asunción for a 3rd day to demand the resignation of the president following a collapse in the healthcare system of Paraguay, with elective surgeries such as appendix removal halted altogether and medicine at a critically low supply. After gathering in front of the ex-president’s house, an avid supporter of the current government, demonstrators were tear-gassed and forced to disperse.
