Hundreds of anarchists in Los Angeles took to the streets on the anniversary of Breonna Taylor’s murder by police via dozens of gunshots after her house was raided with a no-knock warrant by law enforcement. Protesters were able to use a shield wall to push out of kettles and avoid as many arrests as possible, also resisting chemical weapons.
Around 1000 Greek protesters in Heraklion gathered for a demonstration against police repression and brutality following the beating of a student in a Nea Smyrni, Athens park, and in solidarity with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, which was invaded by law enforcement with 33 people arrested.
Around 1000 protesters marched in Lleida for a second day to the prison where Pablo Hasel resides, a communist Catalan rapper facing charges for denouncing the Spanish monarchy. Following the arrival of police forces on the scene, clashes began to occur with barricades placed and rocks being thrown.
