Local far-right groups protested in Frankfurt for the end of the lockdown, with antifascists showing up to counterprotest against the anti-science demonstrators. Tensions were high and sporadic fights broke out, until police cracked down almost exclusively on the counterprotesters, hitting them with a water cannon and arresting many.

Dozens of protesters gathered at the Gandhi Monument in Panama City to demonstrate on the anniversary of the American invasion of the country in which more than 5,000 people were killed. A coalition of groups gathered, mostly from the Marxist-Leninist SUNTRAC organization, burning and stomping on flags of the United States.
