Protesters gathered in Portland to commemorate the death of protest organizer Travis Nagdy in Louisville, marching from Pioneer Courthouse Square to the ICE facility. DHS attacked the protesters several times, arresting at least 4 people, and broke up the demonstration extremely quickly. Brutality was rampantly observed, with a protester’s head seen slammed into the wall by a DHS agent. Other vigils had occurred across the United States, but none cracked down on like those in Portland.
