Over 20,000 protesters in Berlin marched after the first anniversary of the Hanau Massacre, in which 11 people were killed by a far-right winger. Demonstrators waved antifascist flags and carried banners against the extreme right, vowing never to allow the seeds of hatred to grow in Germany again.
