Around 1000 students in Patras returned to the streets on a 2nd consecutive day of protests against a law that reintroduces police to university campuses, passed under the ruling right-wing New Democracy government currently in control of Parliament.

Demonstrators gathered in memorial of Esteban, a 15-year-old protester killed in Santiago earlier in the day, in La Pincoya, his hometown. The Carabinero police forces immediately arrived on-scene, using water cannons against the demonstration and arresting several people.
