Protesters took to the streets in Vancouver, Washington, after the shooting of Kevin Peterson by police at least 5 times in the back for running away while unarmed. Within an hour of the news, 30 protesters had showed up to begin fighting with police; it would be 11 hours before Peterson Jr.’s body was taken away.

Multiple protests occurred in solidarity with Nigeria and the End SARS/SWAT movement, in Houston, Portland, and Toronto. Attendance ranged from a dozen people to more than a thousand during the protests.
Demonstrators for Black Trans and Asian Lives took to the streets on the 12th of October to protest the persecution of black, transgender, and Asian people in the city. Protesters marched through Brooklyn and did not engage in any clashes with police.
