Protesters took to the streets in Vancouver, Washington, after the shooting of Kevin Peterson by police at least 5 times in the back for running away while unarmed. Within an hour of the news, 30 protesters had showed up to begin fighting with police; it would be 11 hours before Peterson Jr.’s body was taken away.

Thousands of partygoers gathered in Huntington Beach, in Los Angeles, after organizing online, dubbing the event ‘Adrian’s Kickback’. Participants blocked roads and threw fireworks at police vehicles, with many jumping on and damaging police cruisers. Over 150 people were arrested, charged with a wide variety of offenses.
Around 1000 protesters marched in Patras against police repression in universities, demanding the repeal of a law passed by the Ministry of Education allowing police to enter universities for the first time in decades since the fall of the military dictatorship in 1974.
Dozens of protesters took to the streets 19 days after the beginning of demonstrations demanding justice for Andrew Brown, an unarmed Black man killed by police in his driveway using assault rifles. Police kept a presence in the area, but did not attack the protest and allowed participants to peacefully disperse.
