Dozens of protesters gathered in Seattle for an indigenous-led march to demand the abolition of ICE and stop all deportations of undocumented immigrants in the United States. Although police trailed the demonstration, no arrests were made and protesters dispersed peacefully.
Hundreds of protesters across Chile marched against the approval of the new open-pit Dominga mine, which threatens the ecosystem of the Humboldt Archipelago, one of the most biodiverse in the world. After it was approved, widespread clashes occurred, centered around La Serena, the capital of the Coquimbo region in which the mine was being built.

Hundreds of protesters in Chania took to the streets against the new bill to bring back police to universities, proposed by Minister of Education Niki Kerameos. Students’ associations and teachers’ unions were present, marching side by side against cops on campus.
Around 300 protesters gathered in Argostoli on the island of Cephalonia, marching in solidarity with the Koufontinas hunger strike and demanding that the Greek government immediately accept the revolutionary prisoner’s request to be returned to his old cell at the Korydallos prison in Athens.
