Demonstrators in New York City gathered at the Troy Marshalls Office to protest against evictions in which US Marshals and elite police units assisted operations. About 20 protesters occupied the front of the building, significantly annoying the smoothening of daily operations.
Protests occurred in Los Angeles ranging from the hundreds to the thousands in honor of Breonna Taylor and against the grand jury decision not to indict for murdering her.
Over 500 protesters in Berlin gathered to demonstrate against fascism, capitalism, repression, curfew, and state management of the COVID-19 pandemic. Antifascist flags were raised, and banners were dropped across the city declaring the continuation of the anti-state struggle.
Hundreds of protesters gathered for a People’s March near the Minnesota governor’s mansion in St. Paul, demanding “Cash not covid”, “Community not cops”, “People not pipelines”, and “Politics without Proud Boys”. Several signs were seen demanding justice for Dolal Idd, as well as in opposition to the Line 3 Tar Sands Pipeline.
Hundreds of protesters in Recife took to the streets against right-wing president Bolsonaro, demanding more access to vaccines and the end of ethnic cleansing against indigenous people in the Amazon. Police attacked the peaceful demonstrations, shooting tear gas and rubber bullets at the crowd.
