Hundreds of protesters turned out for Black Lives for a 132nd day, going through Lake Oswego; one of the wealthiest in the entire Portland metro area. A few counterprotesters arrived, but paling in comparison to the more than 500 people who turned out for the march.

Protests in New York grew vastly, against the ruling in which the police that killed Breonna Taylor went free. The protests were in the thousands and were centered around Barclays and the Brooklyn bridge, marching from the former to the latter through the night.

Tear gas, flashbang grenades, and even the rare water cannons were deployed to contain a small crowd of people.
Dozens of protesters in Washington D.C. marched with a shield wall on the anniversary of Breonna Taylor’s murder, condemning the no-knock warrant that resulted in police opening fire into the black woman’s home and shooting her 10+ times.
