Police Kill 1 Protester in Haiti Amid Increasing Riots

Protesters took to the streets once again in Port-au-Prince against the standing President, calling for anti-corruption laws to be passed. 1 protester was killed and 2 were injured by police who fired on a crowd with live rounds.

The killing did not deter protesters, who continued on the way to the neighborhood of Delma until police once again opened fire with rubber bullets and tear gas, which dispersed the demonstration.
