Demonstrators in Lebanon returned to the streets in another round of protests in opposition to government incompetence in handling hyperinflation and soaring gas prices. Crowds shut down roads by placing barricades and burning tires in order to incentivize a response by authorities.

Demonstrations occurred across Iraq against the administration of Mustafa Al-Kadhimi (Al-Kazemi), against whom outrage has been widespread for opening fire and killing 7 civilians in Baghdad during a demonstration earlier in October. It is estimated that at least 10,000 people took part in these protests.
