Dozens of protesters took to the streets of Elizabeth City for an 8th consecutive day, following the police shooting of Andrew Brown. Despite demonstrations remaining entirely peaceful, police arrested several participants and stopped the protest with dozens of militarized officers on the scene.

DHS then assaulted demonstrators with munitions after they set a dumpster on fire, with several waves occurring of law enforcement retreating and coming back out, before they were pushed out one last time by the remaining protesters and the demonstration ended for the night.
