Dozens of protesters gathered at 6 prisons in Central Valley, California, demanding the immediate release of prisoners and personal protective equipment for inmates after a virulent outbreak began in facilities across the area. Over 40 friends and family gathered at the SATF-Corcoran facility, the one with the largest cases and most inmate deaths.

Student anarchists dropped banners in the Athens University of Economics and Business (ASOEE) and in the Athens Polytechnic University, as well as tagging graffiti in the neighborhood of Zografou in solidarity with the N17 hunger striker Dimitris Koufontinas and to demand that police stay out of university campuses across Greece, a measure recently taken by the right-wing government to “end lawlessness”.
Around 30 protesters in Vienna marched in solidarity with the Koufontinas hunger strike, lighting flares and throwing paint at the Greek embassy to demand the immediate satisfaction of the former 17 November member’s request to be returned to the Korydallos prison in Athens.
Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Antofagasta in solidarity with the uprising in Colombia against neoliberalism and police violence, met with brutal repression by state security forces under the leadership of president Ivan Duque, as well as with political prisoners of the uprising in Chile on hunger strike.
