Hundreds of students gathered at the Statue of Venizelos in Thessaloniki in opposition to a new bill proposed by the Greek government, which would reintroduce police on university campuses for the first time since the fall of the military dictatorship in 1974. Demonstrators then marched to the Ministry of Macedonia and Thrace, meeting with teachers’ unions, pressuring the regional administration not to support the new measures.

Anarchists in Portland attacked the city’s Public Schools Headquarters, torching multiple school district vehicles, breaking office windows, and scrawling graffiti on the walls of the headquarters. Demonstrators participated in the action as part of the Youth Liberation Front’s call to action on the 6th of March against capitalism and the state.
Athenian anarchists gathered at the Propylaea in solidarity with former 17 November member Dimitris Koufontinas, who entered a hunger strike on the 8th of January to demand his transfer to the Korydallos prison in Athens.
