Student anarchists in the University of Ioannina dropped giant banners in front of campus, in condemnation of the new leading government of Greece attempting to reinstall police into tertiary schools/universities.
Demands of the Autonomous Assembly of the University of Ioannina
- Cops away from schools, homes, and dormitories
- To react collectively to the terrorism of Education Minister Niki Kerameos and Citizens’ Protection Minister Michalis Chrysochoidis
- Against further crackdowns and discipline on education
- To finish the year with online learning rather than in-person education
- Against the state management of the pandemic, allow for autonomous response with the aid of the ΕΣΥ (National Statistical Service)
- Open universities after this semester with all necessary sanitary measures to keep both educators and students safe
- Increase of MMM (Personal Protective Equipment)
