10-15,000 Turkish Cypriots protested against the Turkish government’s intervention in the region, calling for reunification without intervention from either Greece or their own mainland. The protest was organized by the newly formed Democracy and Political Will Party, calling for the reintegration of the Turkish north into the Greek-majority government.
