Anarchists call for a larger stimulus, the end of anti-protest restrictions under the guise of quarantine, and the end of union-busting during coronavirus restrictions.
Protesters in Karditsa gathered at the office of New Democracy MP Giorgos Kotsos, demanding the acceptance of demands put forward by Dimitris Koufontinas, a former member of 17N who has been on hunger strike since the 8th of January for a transfer to the Korydallos prison in Athens where he would get quality medical care and access to visitors.
Hundreds of protesters gathered in Ibagué for a 2nd consecutive, as part of a national general strike against neoliberalism and demanding the fall of new reforms raising taxes on basic goods and services. Police attacked students at the University of Tolima, using water cannons to disperse the crowd that remained.
Around 80 protesters marched in Xanthi in solidarity with Dimitris Koufontinas, a former member of the 17 November left-wing urban guerilla who entered a hunger strike on the 8th of January to demand his return to the Korydallos prison in Athens, where he would once again be able to see his family and other visitors.
