Dozens of Afro-Colombians protested in Buenaventura against government incompetence after an armed gang occupied the vital port city, with killings and disappearances rampantly occurring, mostly dissidents against the cartel holding control of the region.

About 150 protesters gathered in Tacoma following an incident the previous day in which a police cruiser ran over a crowd spectating a street racing event. Demonstrators placed burning barricades on the street, marching to a local prison to make noise for the inmates, as well as smashing windows of state institutions along the way. Police failed to kettle the demonstration, which resulted in very few arrests.
Hundreds of protesters returned to the streets of Tripoli to demand an increase in living conditions and a stimulus from the Lebanese government, as a 3-week quarantine was put in place to be enforced by the army without any welfare packages provided. Police then arrived at the scene, attacking and tear-gassing protesters and causing at least 15 injuries.
Over 100 protesters in Heraklion gathered in solidarity with the Koufontinas hunger strike to be returned to the Korydallos prison. Demonstrators were almost immediately attacked by police before regrouping and forcing law enforcement to retreat and disperse.
