Over a thousand protesters gathered in Heraklion for the biggest protest in the city’s history, demanding the end of a proposed law that would bring police back to university campuses across Greece, proposed by the Minister of Education Niki Kerameos.
Dozens of hotel workers in the western Greek island of Corfu went on strike outside of the labor enlistment office, demanding an emergency payment of 600 Euros in order to survive the pay cuts that have occurred during the pandemic.

Hundreds of protesters returned to the streets of Ibagué for a 5th day, following the murder of a teenager the night before for throwing paint-filled balloons at police, condemning privatization & state brutality in Colombia. After the demonstration ended, police went after dispersed demonstrators, terrorizing neighborhoods and attacking civilians.
