Hundreds of protesters gathered in Ioannina to oppose a bill proposed by the Greek Education Minister that would bring police back to universities for the first time since 1975. Despite breaking the ban on demonstrations, no arrests were made and no police presence was observed.
Hundreds of Yellow Vests gathered in what would be dubbed as ‘Rainbow Bloc’ at the Council of State in solidarity with protesters arrested during the March of Liberties demonstration against the global security law in the previous week. Protesters were blocked from leaving the area by CRS riot police before being allowed through to the l’Amiral de Coligny street. The police then kettled the crowd for 40 minutes, causing many complaints before slowly letting protesters disperse.

Dozens of protesters gathered across Sudan for a 5th day after the removal of government subsidies on fuel and petrol, which raised consumer prices by more than 200%. Using previous tactics, barricades were burnt and roadblocks were placed in order to pressure for concessions.
