French youth in Angers burnt cars and lit fires across the city for New Year’s, following the tradition of mass unrest every 1st of January in the country.

Dozens of protesters in the La Pincoya neighborhood of Santiago returned to the streets against the neoliberal police state of Chile after brutal repression in a previous round of demonstrations.
