Dozens of protesters in the island town of Palma took to the streets to demand the release of Pablo Hasel, a left-wing Catalan rapper arrested and facing charges for insulting the Bourbon royal family of Spain.
Demonstrators in Seattle gathered in protest of the sweep of Cal Anderson Park by police, attempting to stop the department from destroying the property of the unhoused. Police responded with brutality, causing several injuries and arresting a total of 21 people. Most of the belongings of the unhoused people of the park were seen thrown in dumpsters.
Hundreds of protesters returned to Parliament Square in London to demand the nullification of a bill debated in the House of Commons and later passed, which would restrict the right to protest, raising jail sentences and increasing police powers. Demonstrators were assaulted by police, who made several arrests.
