Thousands of protesters in Medellín took to the streets against the Tributary Reform and neoliberal policy in Colombia, which would establish new taxes on basic goods and services and cripple the middle and lower classes. After police began attacking demonstrators, clashes began with looting becoming widespread later in the day.

Around 300 protesters gathered at the Justice Center in Portland around nightfall on the anniversary of Breonna Taylor’s murder, demanding justice for the black woman killed in Louisville by police who opened fire into her home using a no-knock warrant.
