Protesters gathered in the hundreds in Mexico City to demonstrate against the state’s war on the Zapatistas via funding of paramilitaries to attack harvest storage facilities and imprisonment of Zapatista figures. The following day, a political prisoner with allegiance to the EZLN was released by the Mexican government.
Around 150 Portland protesters took to the streets in support of a national uprising and general strike in Colombia against corruption, wealth inequality, and police violence. Demonstrators called for the end of US cooperation with the existing regime and expressed their support with the demonstrations from abroad.

Participants blocked roads and threw fireworks at police vehicles, with many jumping on and damaging police cruisers. Over 150 people were arrested, charged with a wide variety of offenses.
