Protesters gathered in the hundreds in Mexico City to demonstrate against the state’s war on the Zapatistas via funding of paramilitaries to attack harvest storage facilities and imprisonment of Zapatista figures. The following day, a political prisoner with allegiance to the EZLN was released by the Mexican government.
