Unrest Begins in Lebanon After Hariri Re-inaugurated

Saad Hariri was overthrown by protesters in late 2019 from the Whatsapp Tax riots, but has been re-inaugurated to replace the government that resigned after the explosion. Many Lebanese now ignore the government due to mutual aid networks that were set up by libertarian socialist coalitions across the country.

Following the re-inauguration of Hariri, his supporters burned down the Revolution Fist monument in the center of Beirut, at the center of both the 2019 and 2020 protests.
