Protesters gathered in the thousands in Argentina demonstrating against pension cuts, which were later canceled by the left-leaning government. Police were extremely short on numbers and were very quickly beaten back by 4,000 people in Buenos Aires.

Thousands of partygoers gathered in Huntington Beach, in Los Angeles, after organizing online, dubbing the event ‘Adrian’s Kickback’. Participants blocked roads and threw fireworks at police vehicles, with many jumping on and damaging police cruisers. Over 150 people were arrested, charged with a wide variety of offenses.
Over 100 Portlanders returned to the weekly march for Patrick Kimmons, a black man killed by police in 2018, whose mother has led marches every week since July demanding the reopening of the case. Cheers of support came from many neighbors, and the police also were notified of the march when it came around to their precinct. Letha Winston (Kimmons’ mother) then stopped the march, led chants, and gave speeches regarding updates on the case.
