Protesters gathered in the thousands in Argentina demonstrating against pension cuts, which were later canceled by the left-leaning government. Police were extremely short on numbers and were very quickly beaten back by 4,000 people in Buenos Aires.
Hundreds of students returned to the streets of Thessaloniki for a 2nd consecutive day in opposition to a law passed on the 12th which reintroduces police to university campuses for the first time since 1975.
