Thousands of protesters in Popayán took to the streets in opposition to neoliberal policies and the Tributary Reform in Colombia, which would impose new taxes on basic goods and services such as electricity, internet, and water. Demonstrators clashed with police, throwing rocks and taking down security cameras at the site.
Families of the victims of the Beirut port bombing gathered in front of the Palace of Justice, placing and burning barricades to demand convictions for the lack of responsibility which led to the deaths of 158 people and the injuries of over 7000.
