Thousands of protesters in Popayán took to the streets in opposition to neoliberal policies and the Tributary Reform in Colombia, which would impose new taxes on basic goods and services such as electricity, internet, and water. Demonstrators clashed with police, throwing rocks and taking down security cameras at the site.
Around 100 protesters gathered in Portland and marched through the Pearl District for a direct action march in solidarity with BLM. Police kettled the march, detaining the entire crowd they trapped and marking them with their legal names with duct tape on individuals’ chests.
Dozens of students protested at Georgiou Square in Patras, demanding the repeal of a law passed by the Minister of Education which allowed police to enter university campuses for the first time since the fall of the military dictatorship.

Organizers called for the decriminalization of sex work, police abolition, and the end of US and western neocolonialism in Asia.
About 250 anarchists and environmentalists gathered at the Dannenrod activist-occupied forest in Germany to block deforestation crews from carrying out their operation. The German police had often harmed activists that were protecting the forest, cutting rope and making many of them fall, sometimes sustaining injuries too.
