Thousands of protesters in Popayán took to the streets for a 4th day to demand the fall of the Tributary Reform, which would increase taxes on basic goods and services, as well as the privatization of hospitals and most healthcare. Police attacked the demonstration, tear-gassing the crowd and dispersing protesters across the city by nightfall.
