Thousands of protesters in Manizales took to the streets in opposition to decades of neoliberal policies in Colombia and the Tributary Reform, which would tax basic goods and services such as utilities. Police attacked the demonstration, deploying tear gas and causing a mass dispersal of the crowd.

The city of Ancud in Chile barricaded most entry and exit roads as Chile entered its 4th week of quarantine, stating that the citizens of the town had a complete lack of basic resources to survive. Protesters state that quarantine would continue to be opposed until the town could be assured that enough supplies could come through to survive.
Hundreds of protesters in Neiva returned to the streets for the 4th day of a general strike in Colombia, demanding the overturning of the Tributary Reform, which would raise taxes on basic goods and services, and would also privatize hospitals and healthcare, which would make the health system similar to that of the US.
Hundreds of protesters marched in Seattle for a joint Black Lives Matter & Cancel Rent protest, demanding that all unpaid rent during the pandemic be forgiven due to the economic hardship in the United States. Organizers also demanded the abolition of the Seattle Police Department, well-known for its brutality.
