Around 5,000 demonstrators marched in Girona and clashed with riot police to demand the release of Pablo Hasel, a Catalan rapper arrested for criticizing the Spanish monarchy. Youths smashed windows and placed barricades, throwing rocks at police who in response shot tear gas at the crowd.

Thousands gathered in Madrid for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, with several antifascist groups organizing the march through the Vallekas borough, including Carabanchel Antifa, Vallekas Feminists, and other organizations.

Around 150 protesters in Portland gathered for a direct action after the federal courthouse was once again opened back up. After several broken windows and a small fire, a massive security force poured out of the facility and launched chemical weapons against protesters, including the highly toxic HC gas.
