In the city of Little Rock in the state of Arkansas, around the center of the United States, went on strike due to the state’s enforcement of in-person learning, which is feared to cause a spike in infections and deaths in the state among students and teachers alike.
Over 1000 protesters in Minneapolis marched after the announcement that former police officer Derek Chauvin had been found guilty of all three counts of murder and manslaughter in the case of George Floyd, whose murder sparked massive protests worldwide and rocked the US.
