A protest took place on the 21st of September, 2020 in New York City against the brutal fascist regime of Rodrigo Duterte, who has waged a drug war all across the Philippines which has led to tens of thousands of deaths. He has also enacted an extremely harsh martial law to put down any protests going on at the moment, as he is quickly prepared to put them down.

Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Barranquilla, in opposition to healthcare privatization and police violence amid an ongoing general strike. Despite the demonstration remaining peaceful on the highway, police attacked, firing tear gas and injuring several participants in the crowd fleeing the chemical weapon.
Around 120 protesters in New York City marched to demand the abolition of ICE on the anniversary of the agency’s murder of Erick Diaz-Cruz, who was unarmed and shot in the face through his hand. Demonstrators crossed the Brooklyn Bridge to the New York State Attorney General’s office, where condemnations of the murder were given by speakers.
Indigenous Colombians took to the streets to protest the inaction by the Duque administration to combat massacres of natives by government-funded paramilitaries. They also demonstrated against the false positives crisis that severely impacted disabled indigenous people. Natives and Afro-Indigenous Colombians were a swing vote in the election, and a failure on their part to vote for Duque could lead for him to lose reelection.
